We just got our first piece of Baby furniture! I think I am much more excited about it than Darius is. He seems more happy that I'm happy. I even put the bassinet in the living room so I could just look at it more often. Isn't it just the cutest thing? I can't wait to put our little baby boy in his adorable little bassinet! awwww... This has definitely inspired me to want to buy more baby stuff. So I'll have to use some serious self control from now on, especially since I am showing enough now to begin buying maternity clothes!

ReplyDeleteWe have the same one and it was our first baby puchase too! I absolutely loved it and was so sad when Owen grew out of it. I placed it next to my bed and would stare at it for long periods of time (when i was pregnant) just imagining what it would be like to wake up in the middle of the night and see him laying there sleeping. When that time came it was wonderful. I loved having him right next to me in such a cute little bed. Of course, he could have been sleeing in a drawer and I would have felt the same way. But it's to die for cute and I loved using it for my sweet baby!

ReplyDeleteHard for a dad to compete with those lovely sentiments but I have to agree, it is a lovely bed. A little small for your old man but it should be fine for the baby.;-)
